Council is undertaking the Newlyn Recreation Reserve Playground Feasibility Study to consider the feasibility of the Newlyn Recreation Reserve Playspace including the:

• retainment of the playspace within the existing location (adjacent to the Midland Highway) inclusive of renewal works to the playground equipment.
• possible relocation of the playspace to an alternative location within Newlyn Recreation Reserve.

To assist Council in the future planning including a preferred location and the enhancement of the Newlyn Recreation Reserve playspace we are seeking the community’s input.

Following the completion of the initial site analysis and phase one key stakeholder engagement with the Newlyn Recreation Reserve user groups, broader community engagement is now being undertaken. Two proposed options have been identified for the playspace. These options, along with a summary of key strengths and weaknesses for each option, can be viewed via the attached Site Analysis Plans.
