Project overview
The development of the Victoria Park Masterpan is a project jointly funded by Regional Development Victoria’s Tiny Towns grant funding stream ($50,000) and Hepburn Shire Council ($50,000).
The objectives of the project are:
- Identify the current and future role of the reserve.
- Analyse needs/wants data from the broader community, informal users of the reserve, community groups and other stakeholders for the spaces and facilities at the reserve.
- Review the attributes and condition of the reserve.
- Identify reserve development needs, opportunities and priorities.
- Prepare a concept masterplan including action priorities and opinion of probable cost estimates for the recommended works at the reserve.
- Identify relevant zoning and overlays and consider how this may impact on action priorities in the masterplan. Recommend studies and reports applicable to the reserve zoning and overlays to be carried out in the future.
The project will include two rounds of consultation.
Round one: 16 June to 4 July 2025
- This round will be used to gather initial needs/wants data to inform the development of a draft masterplan.
- Established user groups of Victoria Park will be invited to attend a drop-in session to provide input.
- Informal users of the reserve and the broader community will be invited to complete an online or hardcopy (available at all customer service and library sites) survey.
Round two: 18 to 22 August
- This round will be used to gather feedback on a draft version of the masterplan.
- Drop-in sessions will be scheduled to view the draft masterplan, discuss the project with officers and provide feedback.
- The masterplan will also be available online with an online or hardcopy (available at all customer service and library sites) form available to provide feedback.
