Council is committed to inclusion and equity. We have developed a Rainbow Action Plan that commits us to taking clear and achievable actions over the next two years, helping to create a more inclusive, safe and welcoming community for LGBTIQA+ people.

Community feedback on the draft Rainbow Action Plan helped us refine the proposed actions. A summary of community and stakeholder feedback can be found in the “Public Exhibition Engagement Report” in the Links section, below.

The amended “Rainbow Action Plan for LGBTIQA+ Inclusion 2024-2026” was adopted by Council on 16 July 2024. A copy is in the Document Library, below.
