Hepburn Shire Council has committed more than $1M to upgrade four kindergartens across the Shire, improving access, the learning environment and heating and cooling.
All projects are being managed in house with builders contracted via a tender process.
Trentham Early Learning Centre - upgrade the existing centre to improve the quality of the learning environment and provide access for all abilities for 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten.
Budget: $668,000

Hepburn Kindergarten - Upgrade to existing facility to cater for the addition of 3-year-old kinder classes and will include improvements to external pathway for DDA accessibility.
Budget: $240,000

Daylesford Community Childcare Centre - Accessibility upgrades to doorways and entrances, acoustic treatment to playrooms, and heating/cooling installed.
Budget: $126,000

Creswick and District Preschool - Accessibility upgrades including widening of doorways and external ramp entry to playroom.
Budget: $60,600
